About Angels Of Flight

When I set out on this adventure, I had no idea where it would lead.  The birds and the people I have met along the way have been all of different nature, responsibility, character, and personality.  One thing that we all have shared is knowledge.  Knowledge comes in different sizes, varieties and flavors…kind of like people do.  So, I have created this blog in hopes that I may share the knowledge and experiences that have been passed down to me by some of the greatest trainers and people I have had the honor of meeting and developing friendships with.

Angels Of Flight started in November of 2008.  We began our journey doing small presentations at a local pet store in Naples, Florida.  Here we introduced the mentality behind caring and rehabilitating abandoned and abused exotic birds.  Considering we had three of these beautiful creatures (a Blue & Gold Macaw, a Moluccan Cockatoo and an African Grey) that we rescued and rehabilitated on our own, we felt compelled to educate other people who may be in the same situation.  Almost a year later with the help of fantastic people like Patricia Sund, Raz RasmussenSid Price and many more you will find mentioned on this blog, Angels Of Flight has grown in local popularity as the educational basis for information on these types of situations.  Of course we must give credit where credit is due so in some of our posts you will find hyper-links on names and situations…please click on them…there’s so much more information out there!!!  We just provide the basic to get you going to where you need to be.

Whether it’s nutrition, training for flight, behavior issues or simply just a question, Angels Of Flight has the resources to point you in the RIGHT direction.  Don’t be fooled by the imitators or people that make you pay an idiotic amount of money for tips on training your parrot.  Any well known, competent and moral trainer will give you the information for free for the betterment of you and your bird.

In closing, I hope you enjoy the blog and soak up all the info that is presented here for you…trust me…you NEVER stop learning from the best of the best!  I still learn about my birds on a daily basis and I will for the rest of my natural life!

Welcome to Angels Of Flight…Where the Quest For Knowledge Begins…
